Expensive. Quote for the data recovery of my dead aptop? $1250 in 8-11 days. $1650 for 5-7 days. I couldn't afford it. And it took them awhile to analyze. I dropped it off at 9AM (saw only the receptionist, not a technician), did not hear back from them until 3PM. Tried to pick up the computer before the weekend so I can get another quote from someone else local -- but the Disk Doctors waited until closing time to call me to tell me that I could not pick up the laptop until Monday. I took it to a local expert that I found on another website. I had to drive to the valley, but he recovered my files for a quarter of these guys. Maybe these people are only meant for corporate types who can afford time and money
