I had my hard drive fail on me and was in dire need of data recovery so i went to data doctors in phoenix and they told me that they could take a look at my hard drive in their main office in Tempe, but it would cost me $25 for the checkup due to shipping and handling costs, apparently even if you bring it to the tempe office they would still charge you $25. I left my hard drive there, and paid them their $25 and told them I needed it done in 3 days, they said they may be able to do that. After they recieved my hard drive they told me it would cost me $4200 to have my data back!! I told them no I did not want to do that because it was way too expensive, so they took another 3 days to ship me back my hard drive (apparently overnight shipping is more than the $25 i already paid them????) I went to a smaller company, and they gave me a price that was half the amount that Data Doctors gave me, and said they could finish the data recovery job within 2 days. I would not go with Data Doctors because they are way too expensive, plus they tend to send your hard drive back extra slow probably just to anger you. Definitely will never go to Data doctors for data recovery ever again.

They have a great scam going over there. I brought over the "brand new" PC that I purchased from them, and the tech there BROKE my PC while I waited. Now keep in mind this has been a supposedly "new PC" that was purchased from Data Doctors, and this "new PC" goes bad after 6 months of having it, and these guys not only crashed my hard drive (because the motherboard on the PC was bad) but then actually tried to charge me to get back all of my information on my hard drive! These guys broke my PC to get me to use their data recovery service, and let me tell you it seems like a complete scam, they tried to charge me over 3 times the cost of this brand new computer to have my personal information because one idiot tech completely messed up my hard drive, yeah well thanks but no thanks they reneged on my supposed warranty that was offered by them, and had the balls to tell me that I would NEED to use their data recovery service, if that is not a scam I dont know what is, someone should really close them down!
