This company is not that great, I had a mechanical issue and the one guy that works at the company could not recover the data. He also charged me $150 to do the actual diagnostic, then he never recovered a thing because it was unrecoverable apparently. Well then I sent my hard drive into a more reputable company and lo and behold the data is back. i would stay away from this data recovery company, maybe if you have an easy issue like you erased something and its still in your recycling bin, but otherwise just stay away.

My laptop HD failed after a fall. All other recovery sevices I contacted did not do the work locally and had confusing fee structures. I was able to goto Bytes Back's office were my HD was diagnosed and the price to recover quoted on the spot. Two days later, I picked up my critical files and the rest were delivered in a few days. I was impressed with the straight forward profession service and fair price.
