Warning, Data Recovery corporation is very accommodating and will give you a free diagnosis of your recovery problem and the fee to fix it. What they won't tell you, is that while your assessment is free, there is a hidden $25 fee to mail back your data. In my case, a mini dvd was going to cost $25 to mail to Brooklyn from the Upper East Side, and they wouldn't budge on this fee despite me saying I didn't need a tracking number, etc., and just wanted it mailed with a regular stamp. Customer service dismissed my annoyance, saying that they performed a 'free' diagnosis for me and that the $25 helps cover that labor. I guess free costs $25 to data recovery corporation. Also, they quoted me $500 to recover 2 5 min video files from the mini dvd; way too high.
